Homeward Bound - Children's Village

Homeward Bound

Home is where stories are shared and memories are made. It’s where we live, learn and grow. That’s why Little City is Homeward Bound, on a mission to continue building a brighter future for children with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Extraordinary Benefits

Specifically designed to be safe, transformational and therapeutic, the sensory-rich environments for children on the autism spectrum have produced successful and measurable outcomes:

– Increase in adaptive skills
– Decrease in maladaptive behaviors
– Increase in communication and socialization with peers, staff and family members
– Implementation of a ‘teaching environment’ utilizing research and the expertise of national and international experts in the field of autism

Scott Tepperman

Scott’s new home is very welcoming and offers a sense of privacy and comfort for the entire family when we visit. For us, one of the main benefits is that Scott has his own room. The other children in the home do, as well. Having his own space is extremely helpful in allowing him to work on his goals. In addition, the home has dedicated areas where he can meet his therapy and sensory needs. Our gratitude is overwhelming that Scott’s home life is now much more meaningful.
