Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and work with others who need your support. Little City offers several ways for individuals and groups to get involved. Volunteer opportunities at Little City are available on a one-time, short-term and long-term basis. There are a variety of projects that groups and individual volunteers can help with.

Individual Volunteer Projects

Individual volunteers ages 18+ are needed for different projects throughout the campus. Projects may be administrative, support in fundraising and community/social events, maintenance and skilled labor, and more. If you have several years of experience in an area that could benefit Little City, we want to hear from you. Examples of past special skills projects include consulting on marketing and fundraising activities, teaching sign language to residents and their family members, leading community outreach and advocacy efforts.

Group and Corporate Volunteers

Participating in a group volunteer project is a great way to boost morale and camaraderie while simultaneously helping the community. Your corporate, school, fraternal, family or religious groups can assist in some of the opportunities listed in our Volunteer Menu below or specialized projects can be developed to fit your skill set and area of expertise.

Ambassador Volunteers

Little City Ambassadors (LCA) Program is an action-oriented community of students, organizations, and individuals of any age who feel passionate about supporting the quality of life for individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. LCA members generate awareness about autism and other developmental disabilities while raising much-needed funds that allow Little City to continue providing innovative programs and services to the individuals it serves.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have many volunteer opportunities available to both individual and group/corporate volunteers.

“Little City uses an affirming message – that it’s a good world, there’s a place for my kids in the world and Little City will help them find it.”
