Childbridge Residential Services
One of the favorite events of the year for residents and staff is the Annual Prom Dinner.
Little City's first-class, therapeutic programs and services for children are called ChildBridge programs and services.
Little City's ChildBridge Residential services provide 24/7 dedicated care to children with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Come take a tour on our Palatine campus and you'll discover that serving children with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a privilege for the staff at Little City Foundation. Yes, there are many challenges. But for us, it is as if these children are our own. At least we like to think of it that way.
We believe that a child’s earliest years are the most formative – and possibly the most memorable. We understand the needs of these special children, and we do everything we can to help make their childhood the foundation for a meaningful, productive and dignified adulthood.
We love the curiosity our children express. Whether they are learning at school, participating in camps or playing in one of our many recreational opportunities, we are often amazed at the growth our youngsters make.
Everybody needs a stable and loving environment – a place to call home. Children with intellectual and developmental challenges are just like anyone else.
And we love making Little City a place where children can continually grow, play, learn and thrive.

Residential Services
Located in Palatine and serving metropolitan Chicago, Little City's ChildBridge Residential services provide a home for more than 50 children and young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the majority of whom have autism.
The children who live at Little City reside in five homes located on the Palatine campus.
In need of full-time professional care due to the pervasive needs of the child, or as wards of the state due to abandonment, abuse or neglect from their natural guardians, the compassionate and dedicated staff of Little City strive to provide each child and teen with a rich, healthy and rewarding life. The program is partially funded by the Department of Children and Family Services of Illinois (DCFS).
